flamesEvening Youth Congregation

Where: Junior Hall, Rudyard Kipling County Primary School, Chalkland Rise
When: Sundays from 5.30pm
Who: School years 7 and up

The Youth Service is run by and for young people with a desire to see a passion for the name of Jesus fanned into flame (2 Timothy 1:7) in the community of Woodingdean.

We start the evening off with some light hearted sports activities at around 5.30pm until about 6.30 when we start the service. The service lasts for about an hour. After the service we run 'After Church', which is a time for young people to socialise, enjoy refreshments and play more games. We generally try to finish by about 8.30pm.

On the 2nd Sunday of each month, the young people join the rest of the church for a time of worship and fellowship at 6pm in the Infant Hall. Contact Phil to find out what happens about Sport & After Church on these days.

"For this reason I remind you to fan into a flame the gift of God. For God did not give you a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline."
